Parent Testimonies

I LOVE Woodlawn MDO!! So much so, I drive 50 miles round trip to take my son twice a week!  My son has been attending Woodlawn since he was 12 months old (he is 3 now), and he has always enjoyed his time there.  The teachers are sooooo sweet and loving with the kids; they are what makes Woodlawn so special.  You always feel welcomed when you walk in and confident when you leave that your child is in great hands :). WE are so happy here and will be sad when we have to leave for preschool!    Gisell

I would highly recommend Woodlawn Mother's Day Out Program.  Currently, I have a two year old in the program and my older two sons also attended Woodlawn.  The staff is amazing! All of the teachers are very friendly and loving.  My kids have all enjoyed this program greatly.  It is obvious that the teachers really care about the kids and are genuinely happy to see them every day.  Beth Robbe, the director, is outstanding!  She is very friendly and organized and runs an amazing program.  She knows every child and parent by name and welcomes everyone with a smile.  The facility is also wonderful.  The classrooms are big and bright and welcoming.  The playground is large and well maintained and the kids love playing outside.  I can't say enough great things about this program.  I would highly encourage any family looking for a mom's day out program to check out Woodlawn Chapel.  I know you wont's be disappointed.        Angela

Words alone cannot describe what a blessing Woodlawn Chapel's Mother's Day Out is to our family! It has truly become a second home to us. We have a six year old son who graduated from the program almost two years ago, and a four year old daughter and two year old son who are currently enrolled in the program. When they were in the baby/1 year old room, it was not uncommon to find them in arms of one of their teacher's. Miss Lynn, Miss Mary, Miss Sue and Miss Deedee showered them with love. Even though my daughter is now in the four-five year old classroom with Miss Becky and Miss Mary, she cannot wait to run in for a big hug!  Other aspects of the program we love are chapel time with Pastor Chris and music class with Miss Lisa. One of my fondest memories is of my kids singing "Jesus Loves Me," or "This is The Day" at only one or two years of age! Miss Vicki, a very wise teacher at MDO, always reminds me:  "Treasure each day with your children! They really grow up fast!"" I am so glad I listened to her. As our second child is about to graduate from the program, the hole in our hearts will grow deeper.  Finally, we have so much gratitude for Beth, the director of MDO. She not only runs this amazing program, but greets every child on their way in the doors each morning. I simply cannot say enough about this amazing experience.   Sincerely, Avril D.
